Dear customers,
287 New Scotland location is the beginning of Kuma Ani and the beginning of a wonderful food journey for us. Over the years, our dedication to serving only quality and fresh sushi has earned us undoubtable support from our dear customers. For this, we would like to say: Thank You! For the past year and a half, we have had to make changes to overcome many challenges that we were facing. Given the growing uncertainty regarding the global supply-chain and the ability to secure premium ingredients, and because a lot of items which we use come from Japan, it is questionable whether we could maintain the level of quality of food we have been serving for years. Since we have made a difficult decision to convert our restaurant from sushi to ramen, whereby we make most of the food items, including ramen noodles, in house. We will temporarily close our restaurant in mid-January for approximately two weeks preparing for reopening as ramen restaurant by the beginning of February. We hope then, you will continue to support us in a new food journey.
Dear customers,
It hasn't been easy for our operators to balance between family and work. And family value is one of our core values that has propelled us to do better at our jobs, provide better customer service, continue to offer quality food. I has propelled us through tough time with an enthusiastic attitude. In order to better balance family and work, and give our operators a quality day that they can spend with their family. We have decided to close every Sunday starting January 1, 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers. And thank you for your understanding and support.

We are very excited to announce our newest addition, a Ramen Restaurant, on 109 Wolf Rd, Albany NY 12205, is now open for business. The noodles we use for our ramen are make in house, as well as tonkotsu broth, chicken broth. Aside from ramen, we are also introducing new dishes to our community, donburi and ban mein. Donburi is a rice bowl with toppings that are commonly eaten in Japan. And ban mein is a noodle dish that comes with topping and sauce that you have to blend everything together before you eat. This kind of noodles dish are rarely find out side of ethnic community and we are proud to bring these two exciting dishes for our customers. At Kuma Ani, each location might be different from each other, but we want to make sure the name means quality and exiciting food.
Even though ramen is more well known in US. People haven't paid enough attention to Donburi, which is Japanese rice bowl with delicious toppings. And with Ban Mein, Chinese dry noodle bowl mixed with sauce and toppings. It is our intention to bring unique culinary experience to our customers. We think Donburi and Ban Mein are delicious and fun to try.
